Here are the links:
- Tapas at Casa Mono was a great way to celebration Inauguration Night. The pumpkin and goat cheese croquetas were so yummy.
- Whitehouse.gov is a great site to not only follow what’s going on with the 44th President, but it is good to brush on your American history knowledge with a listing of all presidents.
- Stopped by the Serious Eats Happy Hour and then a few went over to Momofuku Milk Bar where we ate soft serve ice cream. The flavors chocolate malt and orange julius were my favorites. I also had my first ever Momofuku pork bun (pictured above). It was so good.
- Worked at New Work City today and got a sneak peek of Tony and Todd’s co-working book, “I’m Outta Here”.
- Read the blog posts by Michelle and Anita, the two writers at I Can Bring Home The Bacon.
January is moving too fast for my liking. We’re already mid-month, and next week is MLK Day and the Inauguration. Check my bit.ly for some of the links I twittered this week.

Mashable party then Mashable overflow at Carriage House where Arc90 sponsored a round of drinks.
Martha Stewart taping where Butter Lane and Sweet Revenge’s cupcakes were featured. Then I went to Ritz Carlton’s Carnival of Chocolate event. Alex from Blondie and Brownie and Danielle from Yaybia joined us as well.

The word this week is “microcelebrity”. This word is over! That kind of “fame” is relative to the number of people who know you and talk about you when you are not there. It is not even real fame or even “long tail” fame. It is chatter that is fleeting. Get over yourself.
During this week, I did some stuff.
Happy New Year in New York! Going in reverse order with Friday, January 2 being first.
Friday: Went to see Doubt at the Angelica, then dinner at Rolfs. I got my wurst on!
Thursday: Hoppin’ John at Kate’s place. The hangover wasn’t too bad.
Wednesday: Lupe’s for dinner, a drink at the Nancy Whiskey before a very low key and fun party in Tribeca.
Tuesday: EVE EVE party.
Monday: Met with a new client at Variety Cafe in Williamsburg. Bought these cute sneakers from the Tretorn store.
