Yesterday was a culture-filled Saturday. First I went to Red Hook for the BWAC Spring Show. A few of the artists celebrated the 125th anniversary of the Brooklyn Bridge by creating lovely pieces inspired by the bridge.
Second, my friends and I went up to Chelsea to the Cueto Project, a massive gallery and artist co-op space, to attend the opening reception of Russian artist Alexander Ponomarev who exhibited his work, Surface Tension.
Third, attended a party for the IRT Theater in the Village where Andy Horowitz is the new creative director.
Fourth, stopped by Leo Kesting Gallery and chatted with artist Brian Leo whose I have seen previously at Jonathan Shorr. Gallery.
Lastly, ate bread while my friends had dinner at Florent.
