Ok, I am thinking good karma and abundance will drop in my lap because I am giving “props” to my ex-BoyFriend. He’s a great guy! His scavenger hunt business, Watson Adventures, is being featured in two articles today. There’s a cool article in the Weekend section of the New York Times. Plus, he’s representing L.I. with an article in Newsday. Soon they will be writing about me!

I am presenting a short commentary on today. Call me Andy Rooney! Some girls dance with women. Some politicians bowl for oranges! Some people love Wednesdays, and some dogs love to hump. Last night I saw Don King last night outside 1633 Broadway on my way from work. He’s the “king” of promotion, and I could have picked up a few tips. Why?! Instead I walked right past him to get down to the subway station.
It’s the first day of March, and I feel fine! The weather is amazing, and I am not sleepy from drinking Merlot while watching the boring and epic-long Oscars. There was no need for a five-second delay. In fact, the awards would have been so much better if I have TiVo! Then I would have been able to fast forward through all the rambling acceptance speeches and tributes. Most of the ladies were lovely, so there was not enough fashion faux pas fodder to gossip about.
Anyway, I found this article today about bloggers or content creators. A lot of people still don’t know about us yet, and it’s a damn shame!

Now that I don’t have cable or even a TV, this was a treat to see! The film is about Alice Paul, a suffragist who fearlessly paved the way for the 19th amendment that granted women the right to vote.
Before the screening, there was a reception where I drank half a glass of red wine and planned to do some schmoozing with women in film. Ironically, the only person I chatted with was an older man who asked me what’s the best way to spread hummus on a pita without using fingers or cutlery. I suggested using another pita slice to do the spreading!
Eat, drink and be merry! It’s that time of year again. It’s Mardi Gras, Shrove Tuesday and Carnivale! The best way to celebrate is with Reverend Vince Anderson and his Love Choir. On FAT TUESDAY, February 24th
